The Daily Apologist - two pack of poems books

$10.00

The heat and humidity are wicked in July. The air is heavy and the streets steam up after these daily thunderstorms. The summer here in Florida always made for heavy feeling times, sun soaked but so hot that life feels like it’s in slow motion. There’s a weight you can’t escape, hot air in your lungs, asphalt too hot to the touch, at times it pushes you indoors and keeps you there. I started a poem a day late July, typing it on an old French coat check pad I found while traveling. 100 pages, the small page size, plus an old typewriter with a pledge not to preplan but to just create small poems, one a day for 100 days.
